Adam Ortiz

I · U.S. House, Vermont at-large · not rated

Position

No documented position on Israel, Gaza or Palestine found. An independent and Army National Guard veteran (2006–2012) also on the 2022 and 2024 ballots, he runs on environmental protection, infrastructure and trade education; asked by VTDigger in 2024 what role the U.S. should play in Gaza, he answered “I understand war and I understand humanitarian aid” and “There is no magic one size fits all solution”; asked by iVoterGuide that year whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he wrote that “Geographical coordinates and there current government and there people are not one and the same” and “That location is important to different people for different reasons”.

Why not rated

Not rated: his one Gaza answer (VTDigger, 2024) and his one Israel answer (iVoterGuide, 2024) take no position on Israel, aid or weapons; his 2024 and 2026 Ballotpedia surveys and 2026 Vote411 answers never mention Israel or Gaza, and in 2024 he opposed further aid to Ukraine because “We have matters that need to be addressed here.” Unrated until a position is stated.
