Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”

Position

Humane Sustainable Future candidate in NJ-5, a 29-year-old first-time candidate running against Josh Gottheimer. In NJ Spotlight's 2026 guide he said “We need to decouple from Israel, a State that has now fully descended into a full-on genocidal, apartheid oppressor here in late-2026” and “We need to end our complicity in genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid in Gaza and the West Bank,” urging that military spending be redirected away from Middle East conflicts; his site blames AIPAC money for “our country’s participation in and funding of genocide.”

Why this tier

A 4, on a thin record: a 2026 NJ Spotlight questionnaire answer, his campaign site and an October 2025 Ballotpedia survey. He names the genocide and apartheid in his own voice, calling Israel “a State that has now fully descended into a full-on genocidal, apartheid oppressor,” and told NJ Spotlight the United States must “decouple from Israel” and “end our complicity in genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid in Gaza and the West Bank,” rerouting military spending away from conflicts in the Middle East. His site blames AIPAC money for “our country’s participation in and funding of genocide.” That is a break with Israel argued on what Israel is doing, but he never puts it in concrete terms: no own-words end to military aid, no arms embargo, nothing on arms sales or defensive systems such as Iron Dome. No BDS, anti-Zionist or right-of-return position. Counter-case: 4/5, reading “decouple” beside “end our complicity” as a call to end all U.S. military support for Israel.
