Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”
His campaign’s “Israel and Palestine” page says “We must stop sending weapons to Israel” and rejects the self-defense rationale — “‘Self defense’ doesn’t mean you get to kill people because their neighbors did something horrible” — asking “Do you think it is OK for people to be killed and expelled from their land based solely on their race and religion? I don’t, and I don’t want to pay for it to happen.” He calls the regional offer of two states on pre-1967 borders “extremely generous” and says the U.S. should see it through; his Ballotpedia survey objects to a “bipartisan consensus” that “we must fund the extermination of our fellow human beings.”
A 4, on a thin record: one platform page and one survey. His “Israel and Palestine” page says “We must stop sending weapons to Israel” and rejects the self-defense rationale: “‘Self defense’ doesn’t mean you get to kill people because their neighbors did something horrible.” He does not want to pay for people to be “killed and expelled from their land,” his Ballotpedia survey objects to a consensus that “we must fund the extermination of our fellow human beings,” and his foreign-aid plank says the U.S. should not prop up “nations engaged in apartheid or conquest.” That is an end to arming Israel, argued on its conduct. What keeps him at 4: it is a challenger’s platform, set out once; he calls the regional offer of two states on pre-1967 borders “extremely generous” and wants it seen through; and he uses the word genocide only in passing, on his North Korea page (“We’re currently funding a genocide”), without naming Israel there. Counter-case: 4/5, since the pledge to stop sending weapons is unqualified, with no carve-out for defensive systems.
