Tier 4/5, between “Critical / conditions aid” and “Critical on most positions”
Democratic nominee for the open Montana Senate seat, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel and counterintelligence agent. Her campaign platform (as of September 2026) is headed “Not our wars: stop underwriting the suffering in Gaza” and says of Gaza’s children that a UN commission “found it deliberate, and found that it meets the definition of genocide.” She writes, “I will not reach for a gentler word than the one a UN body used, and I will not keep helping to pay for it,” and “I will end the military aid that fuels this assault.” The platform would enforce the Leahy Law — “In practice that means a full arms embargo: an end to U.S. military assistance while this assault continues” — and end Israel’s U.S. loan guarantees and the legal mandate to maintain its Qualitative Military Edge. Her October 16, 2026 “know where I stand” list put “End U.S. funding for the genocide in Gaza” beside ending the Iran war.
A 4/5, not a clean 5. As a challenger, she has no votes in Congress, so her words are the record. They go past a pledge to withhold offensive arms: she names the genocide in her own voice, promises a full arms embargo ending U.S. military assistance, and would end Israel's loan guarantees and the statutory Qualitative Military Edge. What holds her short of a clean 5 is that the embargo is pledged only for as long as the assault continues, her platform does not address defensive systems such as Iron Dome, and everything rests on her 2026 campaign platform and posts, with no earlier record to show consistency. Nothing questions Israel's legitimacy as a Jewish state (she says her quarrel is with the Israeli government's actions, not the people of Israel), so Tier 6 is not in play; open to a clean 5 if she commits to ending all military aid, defensive systems included, without the time limit.
