Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Physician and Republican nominee for the open CT-1 seat, who ran for CT-3 in 2022 as the Independent Party of Connecticut’s nominee. On her campaign X account in April 2024 she posted: “I had fun being the only pro-Israel protester today. I love peace. I oppose foreign aid. Terrorism must end. Israel deserves to exist. People do not understand Eschatology.” In June 2026, replying to Rep. Thomas Massie's post on the Iran war-powers resolution, she backed the Iran war as “the first war I have EVER supported” and wrote that “It has zero to do with Trump or Israel, and everything to do with freedom, terror, geopolitics, and putting America first.”
A 1/2, on thin evidence. Her own words put her at the pro-Israel end — a self-described pro-Israel counter-protester who affirms that Israel “deserves to exist” and who defended the Iran war against the charge that it is Israel's war — with no expressed concern for Palestinian civilians anywhere in her record, and no leadership on the issue (no authored legislation, no marquee fundraising, no hardline brand). The counterweight is a general America First line against foreign aid, “regime change” and proxy wars; if she applied it to Israel's military aid it would pull her toward 2, but she has never said so. Open to revision if she addresses Israel aid directly.
