Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”

Position

Pacific Green Party nominee in OR-5 (her second run), whose top issues are “ending war and redirecting resources toward human and ecological needs,” social housing and climate. Asked on the party’s 2026 nomination questionnaire, “Do you support the Green Party's position on BDS, and Palestinian rights?”, she answered “Yes.” That position backs boycotts, “embargoes and sanctions against Israel,” the Palestinian refugees’ return under UN Resolution 194, and “one secular, democratic state.” In an October 2026 Statesman Journal interview she said she is “outraged” by the war in Gaza, which she called a “genocide.”

Why this tier

A 4, narrowly, on the thinnest of records: a one-word questionnaire answer and a newspaper interview. On the Pacific Green Party’s 2026 nomination questionnaire, asked “Do you support the Green Party’s position on BDS, and Palestinian rights?”, she answered “Yes.” That position backs boycott and divestment, “embargoes and sanctions against Israel,” the refugees’ return under UN Resolution 194 and “one secular, democratic state.” In an October 2026 Statesman Journal interview she said she is “outraged” by the war in Gaza and called it a “genocide”; she runs on “ending war and redirecting resources toward human and ecological needs,” housing and climate. Backing an embargo on Israel and naming the genocide in her own word place her at 4. Counter-case: 3/4, or unrated, since her own words are two, inside a reporter’s sentence, and the embargo is a one-word “Yes” to her party’s wording, given as she answered the form’s questions on universal healthcare and ranked-choice voting; read the other way, that “Yes” backs BDS by name and one state, as far toward the critical end as 5/6.
