Tier 2, “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Prefers that Israel buy weapons on its own credit rather than through U.S. military aid: asked in February 2025 whether he backs ending military as well as economic aid, he said he is “very much anti-war and also anti-debt” and “If we allow Israel to go directly into debt with Lockheed Martin, I’d be much happier with things going that way.” His 2025 iVoterGuide answer: “Of course it important to have good relations with Israel. We need as many friends around the world as we can get.” The Libertarian challenger to Rep. Randy Fine, whom he also ran against in the April 2025 special election, has a one-page contact and donation site with a P.J. O’Rourke quote and no issue statements.
A 2, on a thin and dated record: two statements from his 2025 special-election run for this seat. Asked by AskFlagler in February 2025 whether he would end military as well as economic aid, he traced the money “from Congress to Lockheed Martin to Israel, Ukraine,” said he is “very much anti-war and also anti-debt,” and added: “If we allow Israel to go directly into debt with Lockheed Martin, I’d be much happier with things going that way.” On iVoterGuide he called good relations with Israel important: “We need as many friends around the world as we can get.” He would have Israel buy its weapons on credit instead of through U.S. aid, an argument about U.S. money and debt, not Israel’s conduct: the weapons would still flow, and he says nothing about Gaza or Palestinians. Nothing from his 2026 run mentions Israel; he left iVoterGuide’s 2026 questionnaire unanswered. Counter-case: 3/4, reading the answer, given about a Ron Paul quote against foreign aid that he had retweeted, as a bare call to end aid to Israel.
