Tier 5, “Critical on most positions”
Advanced to the November 3 general against incumbent Jimmy Gomez. Own voice: “I am not taking a dime from AIPAC or any corporate PAC money,” and on the genocide, “calling out a genocide when we see one.” Endorsed by Justice Democrats and Track AIPAC. Her campaign’s foreign-policy page names “the genocide in Gaza,” says she “will fight for an immediate arms embargo,” backs the Block the Bombs Act and pledges she “will never vote to send weapons to the Israeli military.” In an October 2026 Los Angeles Daily News questionnaire she wrote, “I support the Block the Bombs Act because I recognize the necessity to prevent Israel from committing further atrocities against Palestinian children and families,” and called for enforcing the Leahy provisions “that block arms sales to nations committing human rights violations.” At a Jewish Voice for Peace protest outside Gomez’s downtown office on October 15, 2026, she told the crowd “It is not a crime to protest apartheid,” and told Knock LA “We have settler violence…that needs to be addressed” and that she entered the race after asking Gomez to sign on to the Block the Bombs Act: “when his office didn’t take us seriously … I knew that I would have to do whatever I could.” In a Status Coup interview released October 24, 2026, asked “Is what is happening in Gaza a genocide?”, she answered “Yes,” and called herself “an anti-war, but most importantly right now an anti-genocide candidate.” On Hasan Piker’s livestream on October 23, 2026 she said of Block the Bombs, “I recognize now too, that is so bare minimum,” called for “accountability on both ends, in terms of the Israeli government, but also our own,” and said she “would love to see a Palestinian led reconstruction era where we’re not talking about building luxury developments, Trump towers on ruins.” In a conversation with Wajahat Ali posted October 28, 2026, she said “we want to end all military aid to Israel. I think that’s actually bare minimum,” said that having asked Gomez to sign on to Block the Bombs, “now I recognize that as bare minimum,” and named “the complicity of certain Democratic leaders like Jimmy Gomez in genocide” (The Left Hook).
A 5. Her campaign’s foreign-policy page calls the war “the genocide in Gaza,” refuses to let AIPAC “buy her silence in the face of genocide, apartheid, and famine,” and pledges that she “will fight for an immediate arms embargo” and “will never vote to send weapons to the Israeli military,” with no carve-out for defensive systems and no two-state or right-to-defend language. In the campaign’s last week she said it in her own voice: “we want to end all military aid to Israel. I think that’s actually bare minimum,” and Block the Bombs, which she once asked Gomez to sign, is now “bare minimum” too. She names the genocide in her own words (“calling out a genocide when we see one”; “an anti-genocide candidate”) and says “I am not taking a dime from AIPAC.” Nothing on the record reaches the legitimacy line. Counter-case: 4/5, since the cutoff in her own voice dates from the campaign’s final week and came on friendly shows, her October 2026 Daily News questionnaire backs only Block the Bombs and Leahy enforcement, and she has no office record.
