Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”

Position

A retired Army Special Forces lieutenant colonel who became a whistleblower after working as a security contractor at Gaza Humanitarian Foundation aid sites in 2025, he said in July 2025 that “We are involved, hand in hand, in the atrocities and the genocide that is currently undergoing in Gaza,” and was ejected from a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing that September after declaring “Right now, this body is funding genocide.” His Green campaign in NC-13 ran on “End Endless Wars” — “Stop funding genocide. Start funding North Carolina.” — and refused corporate PAC money; he withdrew and is not on the November ballot.

Why this tier

A 4. He names the genocide in his own voice, consistently since July 2025, and ties it to U.S. funding — telling senators “this body is funding genocide” and, until he withdrew, campaigning on “Stop funding genocide” — a call to end U.S. funding of Israel’s assault rather than criticism of its conduct alone, backed by more than a year of whistleblowing and protest. What holds it short of 4/5 is that he never spells out an end to all military aid or a weapons embargo, defensive systems included, and his campaign pages did not name Israel. Counter-case: 4/5, reading “Stop funding genocide” on his record as a cut-off of all military aid.
