Tier 1, “Firmly pro-Israel”

Position

Texas Republican who wrote a bill (H.R.8295, May 8 2024) “to require the President to deliver ammunition to Israel” within 30 days of procurement, filed amid the arms pause the House voted to override that month (H.R.8369), and the “Hamas Supporters Have No Home Here Act” (H.R.8221, May 1 2024), which would make any non-citizen merely “charged with any crime related to their participation in pro-terrorism or antisemitism rallies or demonstrations” inadmissible and deportable — aimed, in her words, at those who “incite hatred for America, hatred for the Jewish people.” She also sponsored a June 2025 resolution condemning antisemitic violence after the killing of two Israeli embassy staffers in Washington, and the 2026 GTFO Act to denaturalize naturalized citizens convicted of terrorism or of supporting designated terrorist groups. On October 9, 2023 she backed Israel's “necessary mission to eliminate the murderous terrorists of Hamas” and urged freezing Iran's assets; she voted for every tracked Israel measure she was present for — the Israel-only supplementals (she cosponsored both, the November 2023 bill from its introduction) and the April 2024 package, the censure of Rashida Tlaib, H.Res.894, the May 2024 bill to force the paused bomb shipment (an original cosponsor), both ICC-sanctions bills (a cosponsor of each), the June 2024 amendment barring use of Gaza Health Ministry casualty figures and the September 2026 college anti-boycott bill — and against the 2025 Greene and 2026 Massie cuts.

Why this tier

A 1. She authored Israel legislation — a bill compelling ammunition deliveries to Israel during the May 2024 arms pause — and a bill to deport non-citizens charged in connection with protests she casts as pro-terrorism, alongside a zero-daylight voting record. Beyond backing Trump’s February 2025 proposal for the U.S. to take over Gaza, saying the status quo had “empowered terrorists and created a humanitarian disaster,” no statement of concern for Gaza’s civilians during the genocide was found.
