Bill Hill

I · U.S. House, Alaska at-large · not rated

Position

No documented position on Israel, Gaza or Palestine found. A Dena’ina Athabascan commercial fisherman and former Bristol Bay Borough schools superintendent who finished second in the August 2026 top-four primary, he runs against Rep. Nick Begich on lowering costs, a congressional stock-trading ban and protecting fisheries; his foreign-policy statements are about the 2026 Iran war, opposing “putting American lives at risk in foreign wars without congressional approval.”

Why not rated

Not rated: no documented individual position on Israel and Palestine. Checked: his campaign site (home, platform, story, press and endorsements pages, plus a search of the site’s own content for Israel, Gaza and Palestine, which returned nothing), his 2026 Ballotpedia survey, his campaign YouTube titles, and the Alaska Beacon’s March 2026 report on the delegation’s Iran-war votes, where his campaign pointed to his Facebook post opposing that war. In the Alaska Beacon’s 2026 general-election guide he answered the Iran-war question with “I do not support more endless wars in the Middle East,” and at his October 14, 2026 debate with Begich he attacked “another never-ending war in the Middle East” (Anchorage Daily News); neither names Israel or Gaza. Unrated until a position is stated.
