Position

No position on Israel and Palestine taken. Asked by the Texas Observer in July 2026 where he stands on sending arms to Israel, the Tejano singer said “I don’t have as much information that a congressman is privy to” and “I just wish there was peace between the two, and I feel like I blame this administration for not being strong-willed enough,” while saying he opposed the Iran war. A signer of the moderate “Promise to America” pledge, he runs on healthcare costs and affordability.

Why not rated

Not rated: asked directly about arms to Israel, he declined to take a position, which is not a stance on aid, weapons or Gaza; his campaign site and 2026 Ballotpedia survey are silent on the subject. Unrated until a position is stated.
