Tier 3/4, between “Pro-Israel, critical” and “Critical / conditions aid”

Position

In a September 23, 2026 video on his campaign’s YouTube channel, titled “America First: Why We Need to Stop Funding Israel’s Defense,” he says: “I want the United States out of the Middle East completely. I want to abandon that entire area. Out of Saudi Arabia, out of Iraq. … I don’t want a single US military asset in the Middle East. I do not want to fund Israel’s defense. I want the United States completely out of the Middle East, all of it.” In a June 2025 video on the Israel–Iran war he said “I think it was a bad idea for Israel to strike Iran” but called “insane” “the idea that there’s some kind of moral equivalency between the United States and Great Britain and Israel and our allies and the Iranian government.” A Navy veteran from Williamston running a fully self-funded campaign that refuses every donation, on free markets, limited government and individual rights.

Why this tier

A 3/4, on a thin record: one sentence in one video. In a September 23, 2026 video on his campaign’s YouTube channel, titled “America First: Why We Need to Stop Funding Israel’s Defense,” he says “I do not want to fund Israel’s defense,” as part of pulling every U.S. military asset out of the Middle East. That is an end to U.S. funding for Israel’s military, made the subject of the video by his campaign’s own title and argued on America First grounds — cheap energy at home, deep military cuts and a “Fortress Western Hemisphere” — not on Israel’s conduct; he says nothing on Gaza, the genocide or arms sales. His campaign site and Ballotpedia profile never mention foreign policy. Counter-case: a 3. Inside the video, Israel is one sentence in a full withdrawal from the region, and in a June 2025 video, while calling Israel’s strike on Iran “a bad idea,” he set Israel beside the United States and Britain against an Iranian government he called “evil.”
