Brinker Harding
R · U.S. House, NE-2 · Tier 1/2
Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
In his 2026 iVoterGuide questionnaire he calls the U.S.-Israel relationship “one of America's most important alliances,” calls Israel “a beacon of stability in a volatile region,” and says “I support continued security assistance, including missile defense systems like Iron Dome and Iron Beam”; his spring 2026 campaign site cited “an unprecedented assault on our ally Israel by Iran and its proxies.” An Omaha city councilman and former chief of staff to Mayor Hal Daub, he is the Trump-endorsed nominee for the open NE-2 seat.
A 1/2, not a clean 1. His stated position is zero-daylight support — continued security assistance including Iron Dome and Iron Beam, Israel as a model ally — with no expressed concern for Palestinian civilians. But he has no leadership on the issue: no authored Israel legislation, no lobby fundraising operation, no hardline brand.
