Tier 3, “Pro-Israel, critical”

Position

Her campaign platform pledges to “Halt U.S. funding and sales of offensive weapons to Israel while maintaining defensive support, with much stronger transparency and oversight,” and to use U.S. leverage to improve security conditions in Gaza, ensure “sustained humanitarian access and reconstruction” and advance a negotiated two-state solution (2026). Asked by Lone Star Left about ending military aid to abusers including Israel, she answered: “In Israel’s case, I support withholding offensive weapons while maintaining narrowly defined defensive assistance” (September 2026). An Army veteran and former Dell communications executive, she is the TX-10 Democratic nominee for the open seat against Chris Gober.

Why this tier

A 3. As a challenger her words are her record, and they make one step toward limiting weapons. Her platform pledges to “Halt U.S. funding and sales of offensive weapons to Israel while maintaining defensive support, with much stronger transparency and oversight,” and she repeated it to Lone Star Left in September 2026: “In Israel’s case, I support withholding offensive weapons while maintaining narrowly defined defensive assistance.” In the same answer she backed “conditioning U.S. military aid on compliance with U.S. and international humanitarian law, regardless of the country receiving it,” adding, “We can’t keep writing blank checks.” That is conditioning and a limit on offensive arms, not an end to aid: she keeps defensive support, frames Gaza around “sustained humanitarian access and reconstruction” and a negotiated two-state solution, and uses no genocide language. Counter-case: 3/4, since the pledge reaches sales as well as funding and she has made it twice, in writing.
