Tier 3, “Pro-Israel, critical”

Position

Asked in an interview posted June 8, 2026 by FiftyFiftyOne Veterans about “continuing to fund offensive munitions to Israel,” she said “I don’t think we should,” adding “these are people. These are little children” and “There has to be another way.” An Army veteran (1992–2000), AFGE union official and substitute teacher, she is challenging Rick Allen on jobs, costs, Social Security, healthcare and veterans.

Why this tier

A 3, on a thin record: one answer in one interview. Asked in a FiftyFiftyOne Veterans interview, posted June 8, 2026, about “continuing to fund offensive munitions to Israel,” she said “I don’t think we should,” adding “these are people. These are little children” and “There has to be another way.” A no to funding offensive weapons for Israel, argued on the children in Gaza, is the position of the Block the Bombs Act. It reaches offensive munitions only, with nothing on military aid as a whole, and she has not repeated it: her one-page site and her Ballotpedia survey for 2026 (completed in 2025) contain nothing on Israel, Gaza or foreign policy. The word “genocide” in the question was the interviewer’s, not hers. Counter-case: 3/4, since her no is flat rather than tied to any test of Israel’s conduct; against that, it is a single answer to an interviewer’s question.
