Tier 3/4, between “Pro-Israel, critical” and “Critical / conditions aid”

Position

Libertarian non-interventionist (“No new wars. No more playing world police”) who, asked in the September 2026 Denverite voter guide about future aid to Israel and to the Palestinian people, said he would reduce or eliminate U.S. involvement abroad: “It’s obvious that I don’t support Israel, I don’t support AIPAC. I support the Palestinian people, but at the same time it’s not really our business.” He frames it as non-aggression and avoiding “foreign entanglements”; no genocide language, embargo pledge or position on Israel’s legitimacy is on record.

Why this tier

A 3/4, on one answer. Asked about future aid to Israel and to the Palestinian people, he said he would reduce or eliminate U.S. involvement abroad: “It’s obvious that I don’t support Israel, I don’t support AIPAC. I support the Palestinian people, but at the same time it’s not really our business” (Denverite voter guide, September 2026). That breaks with supportive-but-critical, but the commitment is general libertarian non-intervention rather than an Israel-specific embargo or aid cutoff, his solidarity is paired with “it’s not really our business,” and it rests on a single voter-guide answer. Counter-case: 4, reading the answer as a refusal of future aid to Israel.
