Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he answered: “Yes, it’s one of the few allies, we have in the Middle East. We need a country who will help us prevent Muslim terrorists.” A retired Delta captain and Kane County farmer who has run repeatedly on Republican and third-party lines, he campaigns chiefly to ban abortion, cut every federal agency’s spending 3% a year and abolish the Federal Reserve; his 2024 platform listed “End Foreign Aid - Put America first.”
A 1/2, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer, plus a “Strongly Disagree” on supporting BDS in a 2022 questionnaire where his foreign-policy choice was to stay out of foreign conflicts completely. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he answered “Yes, it’s one of the few allies, we have in the Middle East,” a country that will “help us prevent Muslim terrorists.” That is support for Israel as an ally against terrorism, with no word for Palestinian civilians and nothing on Gaza. There is no leadership on the issue: his only office is a seat on the Kane County Regional Board of Schools, and he has written no Israel legislation. His blanket call to “End Foreign Aid” (2024 platform) names no country and does not change the reading. Counter-case: unrated until he says more.
