Tier 5/6, between “Critical on most positions” and “Most critical of Israel / supports Palestine”
She is an East Texas progressive organizer and mother. Her issues page (as posted in October 2026) pledges to “End the Genocide in Gaza by passing the Block the Bombs Act and other legislation that will terminate all US funding for the apartheid state of Israel,” and says “I will support the internationally recognized right of return for Palestinians so they may reclaim their lands from which they have been ethnically cleansed”; her February 2026 platform said “I oppose U.S. funding for Israel’s genocide in Gaza, and I support a free Palestine.”
Held at 5/6: one position questioning Israel’s legitimacy as a Jewish state, on a thin record. Her platform backs the Palestinian right of return by name, around a maximal measures stance in her own voice: the genocide, “the apartheid state of Israel,” a vote for Block the Bombs and an end to “all US funding” for Israel, which reaches military aid of every kind. But the whole record is campaign copy from a challenger, with no BDS position, anti-Zionist self-description or activism record behind it, so it does not yet carry a clean 6. Counter-cases: a clean 5 if the right-of-return plank is read as a humanitarian position rather than one questioning Israel’s legitimacy; a clean 6 on documented activism or an anti-Zionist self-identification.
