Christopher Dennison
I · U.S. House, FL-7 · Tier 3
Tier 3, “Pro-Israel, critical”
The Libertarian nominee for the open FL-7 seat has no Ballotpedia survey; his campaign site calls for ending foreign aid and bringing troops home without naming Israel. Asked in iVoterGuide’s 2026 general-election questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Dennison answered: “No, we should end all foreign aid, which includes Israel. We also should not merge our militaries and share government secrets with them. If a private company wants to aid Israel, they care welcome to do so but we should no longer support Israel financially. If they want to enter a trade agreement with us fine, but we should not give them one more dime of financial aid.”
A 3, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Dennison answered: “No, we should end all foreign aid, which includes Israel,” adding that the U.S. “should not merge our militaries and share government secrets with them” and “should not give them one more dime of financial aid.” That ends aid to Israel by name, and refusing to merge militaries or share secrets goes past an argument about who pays. But he leaves the rest open: a private company that wants to aid Israel is welcome to, and a trade agreement would be “fine.” Elsewhere in the same questionnaire he would defend foreign governments only “if they are paying us for that defense.” He says nothing about Gaza, Palestinians or how U.S. weapons are used. His campaign site’s foreign-policy planks (“End Foreign Aid. Charge for Defense.”) do not name Israel, and he says he is the only candidate in the race “committed to accepting no money from AIPAC” (Orlando Sentinel voter guide, Oct 12, 2026). Counter-cases: 3/4, since the end to aid names Israel in his own words; 2/3, if it is read as a blanket fiscal stance.
