Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Asked in the September 2026 Denverite voter guide about future aid to Israel and the Palestinian people, he said he would not end aid and described no plan to limit or condition it: “I do feel that supporting Israel has its place — I would not be terminating that,” while adding that he would “continue to evaluate” the relationship as the situation develops. He casts the issue as a division to bridge: “We need to bring both sides together rather than choosing sides.”
A 1/2, not a clean 1. The operative position is continued, unconditioned aid to Israel with no expressed concern for Palestinian civilians, and as a challenger he has not led on the issue. His both-sides framing and a promise to keep evaluating the relationship are the case for a flat 2, but neither is the concern for Palestinian civilians, in his own voice, that a flat 2 requires, and neither is a step toward limiting weapons. Thin record: one voter-guide answer from a minor-party challenger.
