Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”
His August 9, 2026 campaign statement “Israel and Palestine” says Gazans and West Bank Palestinians have been “systematically driven from their land, bombed, and starved,” that the Netanyahu government will not “cease the genocide of the Palestinian people,” and that “We must stop all military aid to the country of Israel until they have stopped this campaign and begun to make restitution.” He calls continued military aid a breach of U.S. and international law, faults AIPAC's “corrupting influence,” and rejects antisemitism. Answering iVoterGuide’s 2026 questionnaire, he called the U.S. relationship with Israel “important morally and strategically,” adding “What is most important is the nature of the relationship,” and said Israel’s prime minister is “misusing US military support.”
A 4. As a challenger, he has no votes in Congress, so his words are the record. His campaign post calls for a halt to all military aid to Israel, defensive systems included, with genocide named in his own voice and continued aid called unlawful. But the record is thin: one campaign post and one questionnaire answer that calls the U.S. relationship with Israel “important morally and strategically” without repeating the cutoff, so a firm, consistent stance cannot yet be shown, and the cutoff is framed as a suspension tied to the war's end, restitution and a change from Netanyahu's government rather than a permanent end to military aid. Nothing questions Israel’s legitimacy (no anti-Zionist, BDS or right-of-return position). Counter-case: 4/5, since the post’s cutoff of all military aid, argued on Israel’s conduct, has not been withdrawn.
