Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Republican nominee in NJ-1, who works in construction and hosts a conservative podcast, on his third run for the seat. He told WHYY's voter guide (September 2026) that he supports Israel's right to exist and defend itself, and backs “efforts to prevent Iran and terrorist organizations from threatening Israel, the United States or our allies,” adding: “At the same time, I believe civilian lives matter and that lasting peace and stability should remain the objective.”
A 1/2 on a thin record. His one documented position is a standard pro-Israel line — Israel's right to exist and defend itself, framed around Iran and terrorist threats — with no leadership on the issue: no authored measures, no marquee fundraising, no hardline brand. The civilian-lives sentence comes in the same breath as that defense framing and names neither Palestinians nor Gaza, so it reads as boilerplate rather than daylight. Open to a flat 2 if he voices concern for Gaza's civilians on its own terms.
