Dan Green
R · U.S. House, FL-9 · Tier 1/2
Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Asked in his 2026 general-election questionnaire for iVoterGuide whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he answered: “It is. We share many common values and strategic interests.” A Navy Reserve commander who did four tours in the Middle East and Central Asia and was Trump's Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Strategy & Force Development (2019), the Trump-endorsed challenger to Darren Soto runs on affordability, the Constitution and "peace through strength."
A 1/2, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Green answered: “It is. We share many common values and strategic interests.” That is unqualified support, with nothing on aid, weapons, Gaza or Palestinian civilians. His site (home, Meet Dan, News, Media, Endorsements) and 2026 Ballotpedia survey offer only a generic “Restoring Peace Through Strength” plank. There is no leadership on the issue: no vote, bill or other act on Israel is on record. Counter-case: unrated until he says more.
