Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”
His issues page (updated July 28, 2026) says the Israeli government “is completely out of control and is engaged in what can only be described as a genocide against the Palestinian people” and: “I support withholding or restricting aid to Israel until it ends its war of terror in Gaza.” He is the founder of electionline.org and a longtime election-administration expert.
A 4, on a thin record: one two-sentence paragraph on his issues page (last updated July 28, 2026) and one forum answer. It says “the current Israeli government is completely out of control and is engaged in what can only be described as a genocide against the Palestinian people,” then: “I support withholding or restricting aid to Israel until it ends its war of terror in Gaza.” That is the genocide named in his own voice, beside a pledge to withhold aid argued on what Israel is doing in Gaza. What holds it short of 4/5: “or restricting” leaves room for conditions rather than a cutoff, and the pledge lasts “until” the war ends. At an October 11, 2025 DFL candidate forum in St. Cloud, asked whether it is a genocide, he said: “Yes, if it walks like a genocide and acts like a genocide, then it was a genocide”; the St. Cloud Live report adds that he said both the states of Palestine and Israel have a right to exist. Counter-case: 3/4, on a paragraph and a forum answer.
