Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”

Position

His campaign homepage says he “Supports an arms embargo and conditioning military aid to Israel,” “Calls for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Palestine” and “Supports Palestinian rights and statehood”; his priorities page opens with “Free Palestine! Arms embargo and condition military aid to Israel,” and his September 2026 Ballotpedia survey lists an “arms embargo on Israel” among his priorities. A Desert Storm veteran and retired Rio Grande Valley teacher, the Green nominee in TX-34, he “Rejects support from all PACs, including AIPAC and their allies” and says Rep. Vicente Gonzalez is “con AIPAC.”

Why this tier

A 4. His 2026 site and survey say “arms embargo” three times, with no carve-out for defensive systems, but pair it each time with “conditioning military aid,” which leaves the policy unclear: an embargo and conditioned aid can’t both be the whole of it. The record is one campaign’s platform, with no genocide language and nothing beyond the platform lines. Counter-case: 4/5, taking “arms embargo” at face value.
