Eddy Rojas
I · U.S. House, FL-28 · Tier 1/2
Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
A business owner who came to Miami from Cuba, and a 2024 Miami-Dade mayoral candidate, running with no party affiliation in FL-28, he campaigns on cutting regulations and taxes, school choice, public safety and healthcare access. Asked in iVoterGuide’s 2026 general-election questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Rojas answered: “Yes. The U.S.–Israel relationship is important because Israel is a key democratic ally in the Middle East. Our partnership strengthens regional security, intelligence cooperation, and our ability to confront terrorism and other threats, while promoting peace and stability in the region.”
A 1/2, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Rojas called Israel “a key democratic ally in the Middle East.” That is unqualified support, with nothing on aid, weapons, Gaza or Palestinian civilians. His campaign site (home, about, priorities) never mentions Israel, Gaza, Palestine or foreign policy, and he has not completed Ballotpedia’s survey. There is no leadership on the issue: no vote, bill or other act on Israel is on record. Counter-case: unrated until he says more.
