Emre Houser
I · U.S. House, ID-2 · not rated
No documented position on Gaza, Palestine or aid to Israel found. An Air Force and Idaho National Guard veteran of 27 years and small-business owner who left the Democratic Party in 2025, running as an independent on term limits, a congressional stock-trading ban, Medicare drug negotiation, public lands and breaking up monopolies. In an April 28, 2026 Bluesky thread he opposed H.R.8445, a 2024 bill that would have extended U.S. service members’ legal protections to Americans serving in the Israeli military: “Why are we extending benefits to a foreign military when we have Veterans at home who are suffering?” and “That’s a no for me.”
Not rated: his campaign site (home, about, platform) and Ballotpedia profile (no survey) contain no statement on Israel, Gaza, foreign aid or foreign policy. His campaign Bluesky posts (March to May 2026) name Israel only in opposing the 2024 bill on service protections for Americans in the Israeli military and in criticizing the Iran war; none addresses Gaza, Palestinians or aid to Israel, and he left iVoterGuide’s 2026 question on Israel unanswered. Unrated until a position is stated.
