R · U.S. Senate, Alaska · Tier 1/2

Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”

Position

Asked in 2024 (Alaska Beacon, U.S. House race) what the U.S. should do to resolve the conflict, he answered: “Support Israel. Get the hell out of the way and let Israel finish the job,” adding that “Those Gazans or any Arabs has no choice, but to kill in the name of Allah” and that, if it were up to him, “those protesting for Gaza would be rounded up and shipped to Iran.” He did not answer Alaska Public Media’s 2026 question on military aid to Israel.

Why this tier

A 1/2, on a thin record: one 2024 questionnaire. Asked by the Alaska Beacon during his 2024 House run what the U.S. should do to resolve the conflict, he answered: “Support Israel. Get the hell out of the way and let Israel finish the job,” and added that “Those Gazans or any Arabs has no choice, but to kill in the name of Allah” and that, if it were up to him, “those protesting for Gaza would be rounded up and shipped to Iran.” The words leave no room for Palestinian civilians, and nothing in his record offsets them. But they are a single answer from a perennial candidate with no office or legislation, not a stance he has built or repeated. Counter-case: a 1 if the extremity of the words is allowed to stand in for repetition.
