Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”
Akron organizer running as a socialist (PSL) on the independent line. His platform calls for redirecting war spending to domestic needs, which “means cutting all aid to the racist, genocidal state of Israel”, alongside slashing the Pentagon budget by 90% and dissolving NATO; Ballotpedia lists endorsements from Akron DSA and a “Stop arming Israel” voter group.
A 4, on a thin record: one platform line and a campus speech. His Senate platform says the money spent on war should go to working people’s needs, which “means cutting all aid to the racist, genocidal state of Israel,” alongside lifting sanctions on Cuba, Venezuela and Iran and dissolving NATO. That ends all U.S. aid to Israel, with no exception for defensive systems, and names the genocide in his own words, but it does not reach arms sales, and little else of his own on Israel is on record: his page on the PSL states no Israel position, he has not completed Ballotpedia’s survey, and at Ohio State on September 28, 2026, in a speech The Lantern reports as calling to free Palestine, he spoke of action “that can actually stop a genocide.” The “Stop arming Israel” on his Ballotpedia page is a voter group that endorses him, not his words. Calling Israel a “racist, genocidal state” comes close to questioning Israel’s legitimacy, but he states no anti-Zionist, BDS or right-of-return position of his own. Counter-case: 4/5, since the one line is a firm, Israel-specific cutoff of all aid, argued on Israel’s conduct.
