Tier 3, “Pro-Israel, critical”

Position

Durham arborist and repeat Libertarian nominee. His 2026 campaign homepage says the two parties “consider it progress when they threaten to reduce the size of bombs that Israel drops on innocent people in Gaza,” that “Tel Aviv and Kyiv deserve Iron Domes, but we should stop supporting tyrants,” and lists “Equipping countries for self defense, NOT attacking their neighbors” among his core commitments.

Why this tier

A 3, on a thin record: a few lines on his campaign homepage. He faults both parties because they “consider it progress when they threaten to reduce the size of bombs that Israel drops on innocent people in Gaza,” naming civilian harm in Gaza in his own words, and lists “Equipping countries for self defense, NOT attacking their neighbors” among his commitments. Read together, that is an offensive–defensive line he draws himself: arms for defense, none for attacking neighbors. The same page says “Tel Aviv and Kyiv deserve Iron Domes,” so he keeps defensive support for Israel. It is a platform principle rather than a pledge: the line names no country, and he offers no bill, no conditioning mechanism and no genocide language. His war-powers plank and Ballotpedia profile do not mention Israel or Gaza. Counter-cases: 3/4, reading his scorn for a mere threat to shrink the bombs as a call to stop supplying them; or 2/3, since no pledge on offensive arms names Israel.
