Position

No position on U.S. military aid or arms to Israel found. Asked by The (Columbus) Republic in September 2024, as the IN-6 Libertarian nominee, what the U.S. role should be on Israel and the Palestinians, he said U.S. intervention should seek “a peaceful resolution between the two countries,” “Minimizing the casualties on both sides,” that “War is ugly, it kills children, destroys hospitals,” and that Americans “should be a catalyst for promoting peace with economic pressure”; in July 2026 he told WFYI, “I have always been pro-peace.” Vice chair of the Libertarian Party of Indiana.

Why not rated

Not rated: his one statement on Israel and the Palestinians (September 2024) is even-handed — peace “between the two countries,” fewer casualties “on both sides,” and unspecified U.S. “economic pressure” — and states no position on military aid, weapons or Israel’s conduct beyond war in general; he offered it as his approach to “all foreign conflicts.” His 2026 record is a general non-interventionist stance (he would have voted to withdraw U.S. forces from the Iran war). The counter-case is a provisional 3: civilian concern with no appeal to Israel’s self-defense, peace framed between “two countries,” and a call for economic pressure. Unrated until a position on aid or arms to Israel is stated.
