Jasmine Clark

D · U.S. House, GA-13 · not rated

Position

No statement on Gaza, military aid or weapons in her own words found. A microbiologist and Emory professor who has represented Georgia House District 108 since 2019, she won the May 2026 GA-13 primary; in the legislature she voted against HB 383, which kept the requirement that state contractors certify they are not boycotting Israel (March 2021), and against both bills to write the IHRA antisemitism definition into state law (HB 1274 in 2022, which died in the Senate, and HB 30 in 2023, which became law in January 2024).

Why not rated

Not rated: her Israel-related record is three Georgia House votes against pro-Israel measures — the anti-boycott-of-Israel contractor certification and two IHRA-definition bills — plus floor remarks, as a Forward op-ed recounted them, that antisemitism is already covered by the state's hate-crimes law. Those acts point toward the critical end, but they say nothing about military aid, weapons or Gaza, so they do not place her on their own; her campaign site states no position on Israel or Gaza. The counter-case is a provisional placement toward the critical end on the votes alone.
