Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”

Position

Hempstead tax receiver challenging Rep. Laura Gillen. In July 2026 she attacked Gillen from the pro-Israel side — “Actions speak louder than words and Laura Gillen hasn’t been there for Israel when it matters most” — citing Gillen’s vote to halt the Iran war absent congressional approval; she marched in the May 2026 Israel Day Parade with Nassau County officials. Her campaign platform itself is taxes, SALT, policing and the border. Defending the Iran war’s cost in a News 12 interview published October 29, 2026, she said, “We no longer have a nuclear threat,” and that Trump is “committed to, his America first agenda, making America as strong as it can and protecting our number one ally, which is Israel.”

Why this tier

A 1/2, on a thin record: one attack line and a parade march. Her record is zero-daylight pro-Israel positioning — attacking a pro-Israel Democrat as insufficiently there for Israel, on an Iran-war vote, and marching in the Israel Day Parade — with no expressed concern for Palestinian civilians. That is posture, not leadership on the issue: no authored Israel measure, no anti-BDS enforcement, no marquee fundraising and no hardline brand. Open to a flat 2 only if a Gaza-civilian statement surfaces.
