Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”

Position

An “America First” Libertarian who lists “Anti-war. Anti-foreign aid.” among his priorities and names Ron Paul and Thomas Massie as the figures he looks up to; his issue page titled “AIPAC and Campaign Financing” opposes foreign influence on U.S. policy “Whether influence comes from China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Israel, multinational corporations, or any other foreign-connected entity,” and his ballot-access release says “Kentucky isn’t for sale.” Asked in iVoterGuide’s 2026 general-election questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Todd answered: “It's important that it end. Quickly. It has been a disaster for Americans constantly funding and defending them.” In a July 2026 interview he faulted Trump for letting weapons go to Israel to “continue the genocide they’re doing in Gaza.”

Why this tier

A 4, on a thin record: questionnaire answers, one interview and his platform. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Todd answered: “It's important that it end. Quickly. It has been a disaster for Americans constantly funding and defending them.” That is an end to aid and to the relationship, about Israel by name, with no condition attached. He also argues it on Israel’s conduct: in a July 2026 interview he faulted Trump for letting weapons go to Israel to “continue the genocide they’re doing in Gaza” and for not standing up to Israel over West Bank settlements. His main voice is America First: his platform lists “Anti-war. Anti-foreign aid.”, his WVXU questionnaire says the Iran war “is for Israel,” and his site names Israel in a list of countries whose influence he opposes. Counter-case: 3/4, reading the end to aid as his blanket America First stance applied to one country, with the Gaza line a single aside inside a complaint about Trump.
