Tier 2, “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Asked whether military aid to Israel should continue, she told the Colorado Sun (October 2026) that she distrusts Netanyahu and backs a two-state solution; the Sun reported that she “does not believe Israel should have a blank check.” At a Tri-Lakes for Democracy meeting (video posted March 8, 2026) she said “it is critical to have a democratic partner there” and that Netanyahu “has also done horrific things in Gaza,” but would not call it a genocide (“I think we need to let that process play out”) or commit on weapons (“we need to have a much more comprehensive discussion”), and said she takes no AIPAC money. An Army veteran, former USAA executive and former congressional and White House staffer challenging Rep. Jeff Crank, she runs on affordability, healthcare and government integrity, and attacks Crank’s votes to continue the Iran war.
A 2, on a thin record: one exchange at a March 2026 meeting and one Colorado Sun answer. At a Tri-Lakes for Democracy meeting she said “it is critical to have a democratic partner there,” said Netanyahu “has also done horrific things in Gaza,” and said she was deeply concerned about what is happening there. Pressed to name the genocide and to say whether she would keep sending arms, she did neither: “I think we need to let that process play out,” and “we need to have a much more comprehensive discussion.” Asked by the Sun in October about military aid to Israel, she backed a two-state solution and said she distrusts Netanyahu; the paper reported that she “does not believe Israel should have a blank check.” That is a mainstream Democrat: the partnership affirmed, concern for Gaza in her own words, and no limit on weapons. Counter-case: a 2/3, reading “no blank check” beside her words on Gaza as a hedged test for aid; but most of her daylight is aimed at Netanyahu, and she never says what the test would be.
