Tier 2/3, between “Mainstream pro-Israel” and “Pro-Israel, critical”
Brooklyn small-business owner running on AI limits and opposition to “unnecessary and unwinnable military conflicts”. He has taken no position on U.S. aid to Israel. On X in September 2026 he wrote “I support Israel’s right as a nation to exist. I have opposed the two-state solution because I don’t believe that anyone else has the ability to manage Gaza,” adding that “the Gaza Strip has largely been destroyed and the redevelopment plans do not include any mention of what is to be done with those displaced people. I have a PROBLEM with that.” In July 2026 he wrote that the Iran war “doesn’t benefit us. It benefits Israel and we suspect Israel is actively involved in disrupting peace negotiations,” and that “The Israel lobby needs to go back to its roots and learn to convince people that they are right by actually being right.” On iVoterGuide he answered “Neutral” in 2018 to “The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies” and in 2020 to “I support BDS (boycott, divestment, and sanction) against Israel if they refuse to allow the creation of a Palestinian state.” In October 2022 he defended Ye's remarks, writing that Ye's targets were not “the entire Jewish community” but “a specific power structure within music and the media”; Jewish Insider reported those posts in September 2026, along with a 2022 thread in which he wrote that “the meaning of Zionism has mutated over time,” and amNewYork reported he wrote in 2024 that “9/11 was an inside job.”
A 2/3, on a thin record: two 2026 posts on X, written in arguments, and two “Neutral” iVoterGuide answers (2018, 2020). His words point both ways. In September he wrote “I support Israel’s right as a nation to exist” and that he opposes a two-state solution because no one else can “manage Gaza,” but objected that Gaza’s redevelopment plans leave out “those displaced people”: “I have a PROBLEM with that.” In July he wrote that the Iran war “benefits Israel,” that “we suspect Israel is actively involved in disrupting peace negotiations,” and attacked “The Israel lobby.” That is daylight, in America First terms and for Gaza’s displaced, with no word on U.S. military aid, weapons or the genocide. Counter-case: a 3, for Israel-specific criticism (though he has stated no position on aid); or a 2, since he opposes a Palestinian state because only Israel can run Gaza. His posts about Jews — “the activities of degenerate Jews” (2026), and “Duke is a smart guy” about David Duke (2022, repeated in 2025) — bear on how he talks about Jews, not on Israel policy.
