Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
In his 2026 primary questionnaire for iVoterGuide he called Israel “America’s strongest ally in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region” and wrote “I firmly support Israel’s right to defend itself.” A neurosurgeon and founder of Cortex Toys who lost the 2020 GA-14 GOP runoff to Marjorie Taylor Greene, he is the Trump-endorsed nominee for the open GA-11 seat, running on term limits, affordability, election security and healthcare.
A 1/2, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer and AIPAC’s money. In his 2026 primary questionnaire for iVoterGuide he called Israel “America’s strongest ally in the Middle East and the only democracy in the region,” wrote “I firmly support Israel’s right to defend itself” and said “A strong U.S.-Israel partnership makes both nations safer.” That is unqualified support, with no word for Palestinian civilians and nothing on Gaza, aid or weapons. AIPAC’s PAC backs him in the general election: $16,000 earmarked through it in September 2026 and $10,000 given directly on September 2 and October 21. There is no leadership on the issue: he holds no office and has written no Israel legislation, and his campaign site says nothing about Israel. Counter-case: unrated until he says more.
