Jonathan Rinaldi

I · New York State Assembly, District 28 · not rated

Position

No documented position on Israel and Palestine found. On the No Kings line against Assemblymember Andrew Hevesi. A Forest Hills parent and repeat candidate, he was the Republican nominee against Hevesi in 2024 and for City Council District 29 in 2025, then lost the June 2026 Democratic primary to Hevesi with 11.7% of the vote. In a June 2026 Queens Chronicle interview his priorities were infrastructure, health, free buses and term limits; his 2024 Ballotpedia survey adds “No to the City of Yes.”

Why not rated

Not rated: no documented individual position on Israel and Palestine. His 2024 Ballotpedia survey covers safety, healthcare, education, parental rights and housing, and he answered no survey in 2025 or 2026; a June 2026 Queens Chronicle interview covers infrastructure, health, transit and term limits; no live campaign website was found. The only Israel-adjacent item is a September 2024 Queens Ledger profile saying his outreach to the district’s Jewish community stresses “the implications of current political dynamics on Israel and Jewish interests” — the paper’s words, with no stated policy behind them. Unrated until a position is stated.
