I · U.S. House, HI-1 · Tier 4/5

Tier 4/5, between “Critical / conditions aid” and “Critical on most positions”

Position

In the description of a January 2025 video on his personal YouTube channel, “Trump to CLEAN OUT GAZA,” he wrote that “The ongoing genocide in Gaza is a moral outrage,” that the Green Party “could end this humanitarian crisis by demanding an immediate cessation of weapons and aid to Israel until a just solution is reached” — “halting all weapons and aid to Israel until they agree to a cease fire and interacting in negotiations in actual good faith” — and that he “advocates for a one-state solution.” A personal trainer, coach and teacher on the Green line in HI-1, he runs on universal health care, Housing First and opposition to “all wars and military occupation”; on his personal YouTube channel he posted a June 2025 reaction to Kyle Kulinski’s Gaza coverage titled “DEMINEM calling out genocide after supporting it.”

Why this tier

A 4/5, on a thin record: one video description from January 2025 on his personal YouTube channel, linked from his campaign site. There he wrote that “The ongoing genocide in Gaza is a moral outrage,” backed “halting all weapons and aid to Israel until they agree to a cease fire and interacting in negotiations in actual good faith,” traced the conflict to the Nakba of 1948, and wrote that “A one-state solution, in my opinion, is grounded in respect and equality.” That is a cutoff of all weapons and aid argued on Israel’s conduct, but one that lasts only until a ceasefire and is set out as the Green Party’s vision rather than his own pledge, beside a one-state view in his own voice. His campaign site, Ballotpedia survey and Civil Beat’s June 2026 Q&A never mention Israel, Gaza or Palestine. Counter-case: 4, on one 2025 post never repeated in his campaign; or 5, since the one-state view is his own and the cutoff covers all weapons.
