Tier 6, “Most critical of Israel / supports Palestine”
His program says his Emergency Act “will end all U.S. aid to Israel immediately” and that Democrats and Republicans “have both funded and supported the genocide in Gaza.” In a June 2026 interview he said “Israel is a colonial society. It's an apartheid state constructed based on racism and an attempted genocide of the Palestinian people, not just starting in 2023 but long before that, starting in 1948,” and that people of conscience must “oppose the distribution of US weapons to Israel.” He has gone to Palestine protests since his Northeastern days, where he organized against the university's investment in companies with connections to Israel, and has organized with the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) since joining it in 2018; he says “I don’t take money from AIPAC.” At a BreakThrough News forum on October 27, 2026 he said “We absolutely should not send any more money to Israel, military or otherwise,” called for ending “our support for apartheid Israel” and for “one democratic state with equal rights for everybody,” and said “Zionism is a racist ideology … it is important for everybody in our society to be anti-Zionists.”
A clean 6. He takes the Tier 5 position in his own program — ending all U.S. aid to Israel, weapons included — and goes past it to question Israel’s legitimacy: he calls Israel “a colonial society” built on “an attempted genocide” dating to 1948, a challenge to the state's founding rather than to its conduct. The record behind it is sustained activism rather than office — years of PSL organizing, calling it a “U.S.-Israeli genocide” at an October 2025 rally, campus divestment organizing — with no hedging found anywhere. In October 2026 he said it outright: “Zionism is a racist ideology … it is important for everybody in our society to be anti-Zionists,” and he backs “one democratic state with equal rights for everybody”; a November 2023 essay of his condemned “Zionism’s racist reality” and described Zionism’s goal as “to create an exclusively Jewish state by colonizing a land outside of Europe.”
