Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”
Asked by Lone Star Left (Aug 2026) whether he supports ending U.S. military aid to countries with ongoing human-rights abuses, including Israel and Egypt, he answered: “Yes. Any use of US tax dollars for military aid must be tied to human rights standards and subject to review when those standards are violated.” He lists Citizens Against AIPAC Corruption and Track AIPAC among his endorsers; thanking Track AIPAC for its endorsement in a September 2026 post, he added the hashtags “#NoAIPACMoney #ArmsEmbargo #StopGenicide” and shared its graphic listing him as a candidate who “recognizes genocide” and “supports an arms embargo.” His June 2026 statement against the Iran war says “The real reason we went to war is that Iran’s rivals wanted the U.S. to weaken Iran for their regional influence,” under the heading “Israel and Saudi Arabia.” An Army veteran and Dell cybersecurity architect from Georgetown, he faces Rep. John Carter.
A 4, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer and one post, with no votes in Congress behind them. Thanking Track AIPAC for its endorsement on September 19, 2026, he posted “#NoAIPACMoney #ArmsEmbargo #StopGenicide” and shared its graphic listing him as a candidate who “recognizes genocide” and “supports an arms embargo.” Posting them adopts those words: an embargo argued on the genocide. Asked by Lone Star Left in August 2026 whether he supports ending U.S. military aid to countries with ongoing human-rights abuses, Israel and Egypt included, he answered “Yes,” adding that aid “must be tied to human rights standards and subject to review when those standards are violated.” What keeps him short of 4/5 is that his one sentence of his own on aid conditions it on review rather than cutting it off, and the embargo and the genocide appear in hashtags and a graphic, not in a sentence he wrote. His June 2026 Iran-war statement is not a stance on Israel. Counter-case: 3/4, if hashtags and a shared graphic are not read as his own words.
