Kevin Martin

R · U.S. House, GA-6 · Tier 1/2

Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”

Position

Asked in his 2026 general-election questionnaire for iVoterGuide whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he answered that it is “a key alliance to those of Christian or Jewish” faith, tying it to the country’s Christian founding; he has stated no position on aid, weapons or Gaza. A first-time candidate running on schools, drug prices, housing, wages and budget auditing; his defense page is about a readiness benchmark for defending U.S. territory and does not mention Israel or foreign military aid.

Why this tier

A 1/2, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Martin called it “a key alliance to those of Christian or Jewish” faith, tying it to the country’s Christian founding. That is unqualified support, with nothing on aid, weapons, Gaza or Palestinian civilians. His 2026 Ballotpedia Candidate Connection survey and every issue page on his campaign site (including defense) are silent on Israel, Gaza, Palestine and military aid. There is no leadership on the issue: no vote, bill or other act on Israel is on record. Counter-case: unrated until he says more.
