Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
In her 2026 iVoterGuide questionnaire she called the U.S.-Israel relationship “an important strategic partnership that advances regional security, intelligence cooperation, and economic innovation,” and wrote: “I support Israel's right to exist and defend itself while also supporting the dignity, security, and human rights of the Palestinian people,” calling for “diplomacy, humanitarian protections, and a negotiated solution that provides security and self-determination for both Israelis and Palestinians.” A consultant, AME Zion minister and community-development executive, she won the March 2026 Democratic primary to challenge Rep. Tim Moore, running on affordable health care, economic mobility and education.
A 1/2, not a flat 2. She backs the partnership and Israel’s right to defend itself, and her concern for Palestinians comes in the same sentence as that right — dignity and human rights in general terms, with self-determination for both peoples, but nothing about the war’s civilian toll or its conduct, and she has not called it a genocide. That paired, general language is the boilerplate outcome. The counter-case is a flat 2: her answer gives Palestinian rights and self-determination real weight rather than a passing humanitarian nod. Her campaign site says nothing about Israel.
