He defended the Gaza campaign with World War II flattening comparisons, said “the most radicalized people on the planet live in the Gaza Strip,” insisted the US send whatever weaponry Israel needed (the opposite of conditioning), and moved against Israel’s critics, pushing to sanction the ICC and any allied country that assisted it and taunting a Gaza aid-flotilla activist. He stood at the far pro-Israel end of Tier 1.
