Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”

Position

22nd Ward Republican committeeperson on her second run for the seat. Asked in the Sun-Times’ 2024 general-election questionnaire what Congress should do about the war, she answered: “We need to support Israel as it is a sovereign country and an ally, [provide] military aid to Israel, food and medical supplies to Palestine.” Her 2024 Ballotpedia survey added that “Israel should be allowed to protect themselves” and “As for Palestine we should send them food and medical supplies for the people. Unfortunately, Hamas is hiding within these people”; her 2026 campaign site does not address Israel or Gaza.

Why this tier

A 1/2, on a thin record. She backs military aid to Israel and its right to defend itself; her humanitarian line (food and medical supplies) comes in the same answer as military aid, and in her survey it is qualified by “Hamas is hiding within these people”, which reads as positioning rather than concern for Palestinian civilians. No public office, no votes, no Israel-related endorsements and no leadership on the issue. Open to a flat 2 if a Gaza-civilian statement not paired with Israel's defense surfaces; both statements date from 2024 and she has not answered the 2026 survey.
