Tier 1, “Firmly pro-Israel”
RJC-endorsed conservative Republican. Days after October 7 she was lead sponsor of H.Res.777, urging the Biden administration to demand the release of all hostages in Gaza and to refreeze $6 billion in Iranian funds. She was an original cosponsor of the May 2024 bill to force delivery of the weapons Biden paused and voted for it, cosponsored the Hamas-financing sanctions bill, voted for the Israel aid supplemental and backs Iron Dome. In January 2024 she co-signed the Smith–Manning letter to Secretary Blinken rejecting South Africa’s genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice.
A 1. Four days after October 7 she was the sponsor of record of H.Res.777, for herself and 29 Republicans, urging the Biden administration to demand the release of all hostages in Gaza, return to maximum sanctions pressure on Iran and refreeze $6 billion in Iranian funds: her own resolution on the war, symbolic as it was. She also wrote the Commission to Study Acts of Antisemitism in the United States Act (H.R.6578, 2023; H.R.3691, 2025), whose findings start from the October 7 attack. The rest of her record shows no daylight: an original cosponsor of the May 2024 bill forcing delivery of the weapons Biden paused, a signer of the January 2024 letter rejecting South Africa’s genocide case, and a Yea on every tracked Israel measure she was present for, with Nays on the 2025 Greene and 2026 Massie cuts. No concern for Palestinian civilians appears in her record. Counter-case: 1/2, since H.Res.777 is about the hostages and Iran, not Israel’s aid, arms or conduct of the war, and neither it nor the commission bill left committee.
