Marty O'Donnell
R · U.S. House, NV-3 · Tier 1/2
Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Pro-Israel. “I’m a huge supporter of Israel,” he told the Washington Reporter in a September 2026 interview at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual conference, praising Netanyahu’s “statesmanship”; in May he said “Israel is a tremendous friend to the United States and our greatest ally in the Middle East” and “I will always stand up for Israel.” He answered “No” to the Nevada Independent’s statement that the U.S. should reduce its support for Israel. The video-game composer (Halo, Destiny) won the June 2026 GOP primary for NV-3 with Trump's and Gov. Lombardo's endorsements to challenge Rep. Susie Lee, running on border security, protecting workers from automation and AI, cutting spending and debt, and a no-corporate-PAC pledge.
A 1/2, not a clean 1. His words leave no daylight. In a September 2026 interview at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual conference he told the Washington Reporter “I’m a huge supporter of Israel,” said Netanyahu’s speeches to Congress leave him “blown away by his statesmanship,” and called opposition to Zionism “actually Jew hatred.” In May he pledged “I will always stand up for Israel,” and he answered “No” to the Nevada Independent’s statement that the U.S. should reduce its support for Israel. He has expressed no concern for Palestinian civilians. There is no leadership on the issue: he holds no office and has written no Israel legislation, and his campaign site says nothing about Israel. The record is interviews and a candidate questionnaire.
