Tier 2/3, between “Mainstream pro-Israel” and “Pro-Israel, critical”

Position

Asked in her September 4, 2026 Reddit AMA on r/politics whether Israel is committing genocide, she wrote: “Whether or not Israel is committing genocide right now—genocide as in intentionally wiping out a people or culture—it is a hard question to answer, and I do not think as a whole we can definitively say that. But if we look at the situation as whether or not Israel is killing a lot of people, they are. I think we need to review our military aid process and whether or not our ‘defensive’ weaponry is being used offensively. Israel has a right to defend itself, but not to wage unlimited offensive wars.” Her AMA introduction noted that Jack “started his career as a staffer at AIPAC,” and in August 2025 her campaign’s Bluesky account posted “Rep. Brian Jack’s in Israel, not GA-03” with a graphic of Republican members in Israel with Netanyahu, each labeled with a dollar amount. A 26-year Army veteran (enlisted MP to lieutenant colonel) and former Atlanta VA nuclear-medicine worker, she is challenging Brian Jack on wages, healthcare, data centers and veterans, and says she would vote "no" on "wasting hundreds of billions of dollars funding the Iran War."

Why this tier

A 2/3, on a thin record: one answer in a September 2026 Reddit AMA; her site and 2026 Ballotpedia survey say nothing on Israel or Gaza. Asked whether Israel is committing genocide, she called it “a hard question to answer,” then wrote: “But if we look at the situation as whether or not Israel is killing a lot of people, they are. I think we need to review our military aid process and whether or not our ‘defensive’ weaponry is being used offensively. Israel has a right to defend itself, but not to wage unlimited offensive wars.” That criticizes how Israel is fighting and leans toward conditioning aid, but a review commits to withholding nothing, and she keeps Israel’s right to defend itself in the same answer. Counter-case: a 3, if checking whether U.S. “defensive” weapons are used offensively is read as conditioning; or a 2, since at an October 2024 debate, by The Newnan Times-Herald’s account, she argued that financial support for allies including Israel spares the need for U.S. troops.
