Michael Veloff
I · U.S. House, OH-5 · Tier 3/4
Tier 3/4, between “Pro-Israel, critical” and “Critical / conditions aid”
A writer and editor who has worked on Vermin Supreme’s campaign staff since 2020, endorsed by the U.S. Pirate Party; his survey lists guns and training for women who have survived violence, a lower drinking age, cryptocurrency and single-payer healthcare. Asked in iVoterGuide’s 2026 general-election questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Veloff answered: “It is important because Israel has involved our country in genocide and an unprovoked war against Iran.”
A 3/4, on a thin record: two questionnaire answers. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Veloff answered that it is “important because Israel has involved our country in genocide and an unprovoked war against Iran”: the genocide named in his own voice, with no step on aid or weapons. In the same questionnaire, strongly disagreeing that Islamic terrorism threatens U.S. security, he wrote that “there is only war where Israel has decided Islam needs to be removed.” His 2026 Ballotpedia survey never touches foreign policy, and Smarter.vote, which also reads his campaign Facebook page, finds no foreign-policy position. Counter-cases: 3, since it is two sentences in one questionnaire; 4, if it is read as a call to end the relationship.
